2010년 12월 20일, 경춘선 복선전철이 개통되면서 70여 년간 서울과 춘천을 이어주던 경춘선 무궁화호 열차는 폐선되었다. 사랑과 추억을 싣고 달려온 경춘선 열차가 멈춰선 자리에 생겨난 강촌 레일파크는 빼어난 경관의 북한강변을 따라 레일바이크로 달리는 색다른 체험을 할 수 있는 곳이다.

김유정문학촌에는 마을의 지도와 함께, 각각의 장소가 배경이된 작품 설명이 명시된 안내판이 있다. 저 뒷산은 <동백꽃>의 배경이 되었고, 이 물레방아는 <산골나그네>의 그 물레방아고, 저 위의 집은 <봄봄>의 장인 김봉필의 집이라는 안내판을 들여다보고 있자면 실레마을 전체가 김유정 작품의 산실이자 그 현장이란 것을 실감하게 된다. 문학촌에는 기념관과 함께 나즈막한 뒷산을 배경으로, 김유정이 태어난 생가와 디딜방아, 정자 등이 그 시대 모습대로 재현되어 있다.

Gubongsan (441m), a ridge with nine peaks stretching out, is a scenic viewpoint on the eastern outskirts of Chuncheon, a beautiful city surrounded by mountains, lakes, and rivers. It offers great views of the city. Since the 1990s, after a road was built halfway up the mountain, cafes and restaurants began to appear, and it has now become Chuncheon's representative cafe street. The cafes feature floor-to-ceiling glass windows or outdoor terraces to provide the best views. Unique photo zones include buildings reminiscent of Santorini, Greece, and a skywalk observatory surrounded by transparent glass. The Soyang River Maiden Statue is a sculpture located between the Soyang River Skywalk and Soyang 2-gyo, symbolizing the song 'Soyang River Maiden.' The pedestal is 5m tall, the statue itself is 7m, making the total height 12m, which can be fully appreciated up close. The maiden statue standing on the waterside deck holds her skirt with one hand and reeds with the other, with her garment strings fluttering in the wind. The pedestal is inscribed with lyrics. Lyricist Bannyaweol, famous for songs like 'Crying Over Bakdaljae' and 'Mia Ridge of Farewell,' wrote the lyrics of 'Soyang River Maiden,' inspired by the scenery of the Soyang River.
