Danghangpo Tourist Site was established by local citizens in 1981 with donated funds to preserve the battlefield of Danghangpo, where Admiral Yi Sun-sin showed his spirit of self-sacrifice for the country. It was designated as a tourist site in 1984, developed, and opened in November 1987. It is the only national sanctuary site where Admiral Yi Sun-sin launched two battles resulting in total defeat of Japanese forces, featuring a memorial shrine, memorial hall, and victory tower. Along the calm Danghangman coastline is a garden-like camellia forest road as well as family attractions like an adventure playground and marine leisure facilities. It also has a natural history hall exhibiting taxidermied animals such as bears, dinosaur eggs, and fossils of shellfish, a natural art center composed of a natural sculpture park harmonized with wildflowers and a stone viewing hall. There are also wave ripple marks and dinosaur footprint fossils from 100 million years ago. This multifunctional tourist site serves to foster patriotic spirit, provide nature education, and offer a rest area for families and groups.

세계 최대공룡발자국 화석지인 상족암군립공원 내에 국내 최초로 고성 공룡박물관이 2004년 11월 9일 개장하였다. 상족암의 수려한 자연경관과 세계 3대 공룡발자국 화석지인 경남 고성의 이미지를 제고하고 차별화된 관광지 조성으로 자연생태 관광수요에 부응하기 위하여 개장한 고성공룡박물관은 지하 1층, 지상 3층 규모로서 어린이들에게 꿈과 희망을 심어줄 수 있는 체험 학습의 장으로 활용되고 있으며 또한, 가족단위 관광객들에게 좋은 볼거리를 제공하고 있다.

Hakdong Black Pearl Pebble Beach covers an area of 30,000㎡, with a length of 1.2 km and a width of 50 m, located in the southern part of Geoje Island. The clear and clean water of the South Sea causes waves that roll the pebbles, creating a beautiful sizzling sound, which was selected as one of Korea's 100 natural sounds. Unlike other beaches on the South Sea, the water depth here is deep, and the waves are rough, requiring some caution, but the beach is well equipped for marine leisure activities such as banana boating. Additionally, from the pier located within Hakdong Black Pearl Pebble Beach, tourists can take a cruise to Haegumgang, known as the Diamond of the Sea, and Oedo, adorned with various exotic tropical forests. It is a must-visit spot for tourists coming to Geoje Island, even if not for swimming. In spring and autumn, visitors to Haenyeohaesang National Park, including Haegumgang, come by sea, and in summer, vacationers gather from all over the country.

If you go down to the left on the way to Haegeumgang, you will come to Dojangpo Village, and the place located north of that village is the Hill of the Wind. The original name was 'Ddibatneul,' but since 2002 it has been called the Hill of the Wind. Looking at the sea from the hill, it is infinitely wide, quiet, and the cool breeze brings freshness. Everything seen here wears a leisurely charm that is never boring. The island, the lighthouse, the cruise ship, and even the wind all look leisurely. It is the perfect place to throw away or let your burdens be carried away by the sea or the wind. In November 2009, a windmill was installed to provide a sightseeing attraction for tourists. Sinsundae is a large rock located by the sea in Dojangpo Village, Galgot-ri, Nambu-myeon, Geoje-si. It is called Sinsundae because it is said to be a place where immortals played. Sinsundae is a place with beautiful scenery including the surrounding coastal views and is also called Gatbawi (Hat Rock) due to its hat-like shape. There is a folk belief that if a person seeking a government position offers a ritual at this rock, their wish will come true. From the rock, you can see the far-reaching Dadohae scenery. Next to the rock is Hammok Beach, a small beach with pebbles, and on the hill of Dojangpo Village, there is the Sinsundae Observatory where visitors can enjoy an open view of the sea. The observatory is located on the right side of the road to Haegeumgang and is easily accessible by car.

The Haegumgang Cruise is a sightseeing cruise that showcases Haegumgang, the most scenic sea view of Geoje Island, located on the shore of Haegumgang Village, Galgot-ri, Nambu-myeon, Geoje-si. The cruise departs from the dock, with Haegumgang situated about 500 meters offshore, creating beautiful scenery just by looking from the dock. The Haegumgang Cruise operates year-round, but may suspend operations depending on weather conditions, so it is recommended to check in advance before visiting.
