When ordering the Barley Gulbi set meal, the staff will prepare the gulbi for easy eating, and the accompanying grilled short rib patties are also excellent. It is recommended to visit when you want to enjoy clean and neat food.

Dongridan-gil Cafe Street 〉
Dongmyeong-dong Cafe Street, emerging as a hot place, was once Gwangju's representative affluent neighborhood mixing high-end houses and old hanoks, peaking during the 1970s to 1990s. It lost vitality for a time due to the decline of the old downtown, but as academies concentrated in Dongmyeong-dong, cafes catering to parents began to appear. These cafes gradually developed unique interiors and beverages, creating a variety of styles that established today's local brand, Dongmyeong-dong Cafe Street. With its unique atmosphere and various themed cafes, visitors can choose the ambiance and menu that suit them. Dongridan-gil, with its alleys and small parks, is a great place for walking and relaxation. Nowadays, it is also a travel spot known for writings on the pavement, distinctive mural paintings, unique cafes, art pieces, and resting spots. Since it is a cafe street formed in the old city alleys, parking is not easy, but there is a parking lot affiliated with the National Asia Culture Center nearby.
Iinam Studio 〉
Located in Yangnim-dong, Iinam Studio is the studio and café of Lee Inam, a world-renowned media artist representing Gwangju. Since its opening, it has quickly risen as a hot place in Gwangju through word of mouth. This complex cultural space includes a creative studio, a media art museum, and a café, where visitors can see the artist's works from early pieces to recent media art both inside and outside the building. It is also a place where you can enjoy various desserts and beverages while appreciating the exhibited artworks.
Suingwan 〉
★3.9(485)Suingwan is famous as a restaurant with a long tradition of 50 years. Since opening, its signature dish has been yeontan bulgogi. The bulgogi uses samgyeopsal and moksal, and the flavor is determined by the marinade. Pine needles, licorice, cinnamon, jujube, ginkgo, and ginger are added to soy sauce and marinated over low heat for about 10 to 12 hours; then chili powder and sugar are added to complete the marinade. This marinade reduces the characteristic smell of pork and lets you taste the sweetness from the licorice and spiciness all at once. The meat, well coated with the marinade, is placed on a grill and cooked over a yeontan fire. The harmony of the yeontan grilling aroma and three other factors creates a delicacy that cannot be experienced in other foods.
