Hongjuseong Millennium Travel Trail is a route that revisits Hongju, the great town of Naepo that has steadfastly remained the center of politics, economy, society, and culture for a thousand years, embracing its brilliant millennium history. The trail consists of Goam-gil, symbolizing hopeful Hongseong; Jangteo-gil, the market street like the heart of the common people's economy; Maebongjae-gil, a healing space where the body and mind trapped in the city can be soothed; Hongjuseong-gil, which faithfully preserves the lives and sorrows of Hongju people from the Goryeo Dynasty through the Joseon Dynasty to the present; and an alleyway of memories bridging the modern and contemporary eras.

고암이응노생가기념관은 이응노가 탄생하고 유년을 보냈다는 충남 홍성군 홍북면 중계리의 낮은 산자락 끝에 자리잡고 있다. 고암이응노생가기념관은 대지 면적 2만여㎡, 건축 면적 1천여㎡로 전시 홀, 북 카페, 다목적실 등 전시 시설을 중심으로 하는 공간과 초가로 지은 생가, 연밭, 산책로 등을 갖춘 기념관이자 미술관이다. 이응노 개인을 기리고자 마련된 이 생가기념관은 그 자신이 미술가였기에 기능면에서 전시와 수장 공간이 반드시 필요한 미술관의 성격이 한층 더 강하다. 이런 의미에서 '고암이응노생가기념관'은 기념관은 물론, 미술관의 측면에서 살펴보아야 할것이다

Agasae Farm is a happy parrot sanctuary located near Namdang Port, where the Great Shrimp and Freshwater Clam Festival takes place. It is a parrot experience farm where visitors can see, hear, feel, and interact with over 300 parrots from about 50 species, along with small animals. Through feeding experiences with parrots and various animals, visitors can connect and closely observe the ecology of the animals. You can meet parrots eating sunflower seeds, parrots licking honey, and even parrots that talk by themselves. Additionally, you can experience sensory interaction with hamsters, hedgehogs, panda mice, guinea pigs, and spend time with various other animals and insects.

Located on the West Coast Trail Course 63 near the Cheonsuman Marine Center, this coastal park offers a walking trail, observatory, plaza, rest facilities, and exercise equipment, allowing visitors to enjoy the natural resource of the Cheonsuman sunset. The park features a sculpture titled [Happy Time], depicting a man and woman making a precious promise against the seaside backdrop. Made of 투조, the sculpture captures the flow of time—reflecting a blue sky by day and a sunset glow on the faces of the couple in the evening. A photo zone is set up where couples and families can take pictures with the sculpture that mirrors the changing sky colors. As a famous sunset spot, visitors can climb the observatory built on the mudflats to capture the spectacular view of the sun setting over the sea. To the south along Namdanghang-ro from Eosari Sunset Park are Namdanghang, known for its large shrimp and gizzard shad, and the Cheonbuk Oyster Farm accessible via the Hongseong Embankment.

광천읍은 젓갈의 마을이라 할 정도로 주변이 온통 젓갈 상가들이다. 광천토굴새우젓 재래시장이 있는가 하면 토굴 새우젓 가게들이 늘어서 있는 거리도 있다. 이 곳에서 판매하는 새우젓은 토굴에서 숙성되어 나온 것들인데 맛과 향이 다른지방보다 월등하다. 광천에서 새우젓 장터가 아루어지기는 고려때 물물교환으로 매매가 형성되었던 때 부터라고 한다. 이때 광천에는 두 개의 장이 이루어졌는데 그 하나가 옹암포구의 새우젓 장이었는데 번창기에는 조선시대말 서해안의 10여개 섬에서 광천장을 보기 위하여 선박들이 새우를 잡아오기 시작하면서부터 새우젓 시장이 전국적으로 활성화되었다. 그 후 1960년 윤명원씨가 새우젓이 숙성기간 썩어버리거나 맛이 달라지는 것이 큰 고민거리여서, 굴속의 온도가 일정하다는 것에 착안해 산중턱에 토굴을 파서 새우젓을 저장하는 방법을 개발하여 영상 14 ℃의 일정한 온도에서 약 3개월간 숙성시켜 맛이 들게한 후 팔기 시작하여 그 맛과 향이 타 지방 새우젓보다 월등하기 때문에 소문이나기 시작하여 광천하면 토굴새우젓으로 유명해져 지금은 김장철이 되면 전국에서 상인, 소비자가 모여 성시를 이루고 있다. 광천토굴 새우젓 재래시장은 광천역에서 도보로 3분 거리에 있고, 또한 토굴 새우젓 상가는 토굴 가까이 도로변에 즐비하게 늘어서 있다.
