Dasolsa is a historic temple founded by the monk Yeongi during the reign of King Jijeung of Silla. It was destroyed during the Imjin War but was greatly revived in the 12th year of King Sukjong's reign (1686) after monks united their efforts in a reconstruction that lasted ten years. However, 62 years later, in the 24th year of King Yeongjo's reign (1748), the temple suffered a major fire. In the 34th year of Yeongjo's reign (1758), several monks once again joined forces to rebuild Myeongbujeon, Daeyangru, and Sawangmun. In December 1914, another fire burned all the temple buildings except Daeyangru, which survived. After three years of reconstruction starting the following year, the current building was completed.

The total length is 2.43 km, and passengers can get off at Gaksan Station to ascend the observatory and enjoy the beautiful scenery of Sacheon Sea. While traveling by cable car, the boats floating on the sea for fishing create the feeling of viewing a watercolor painting, and occasionally, one can encounter the native dolphin, the 'sanggwaengi.' The cable car operates on a round-trip course starting from Daebang Station, passing through Choyang Station and Gaksan Station, and returning to Daebang Station, with a total of 42 cabins (28 regular cabins and 14 crystal cabins).

Nearby is Bito Island, associated with the traditional folktale 'Byeoljubu-jeon.' Inspired by this, the once old and small harbor fish market was reborn as a themed experiential market called 'Yonggung' (Dragon Palace). Throughout the market, you can find friendly murals and sculptures related to Byeoljubu-jeon. Exiting through the back gate, you can see moored fishing boats, which showcase the charm of this sea city. Daebangjin Guhang is a 2,099m² (635-pyeong) artificial harbor located on the outer seaside of Daebang-dong, Sacheon-si. It is one of the military port facilities established to prevent the frequent invasions by Japanese pirates on the southern coast during the late Goryeo Dynasty. During the Imjin War, Admiral Yi Sun-sin is said to have used it as a naval base. The current harbor was constructed around 1820 during the Joseon era under King Sunjo by the Jinju Byeongma Jeoldosa, who mobilized the people of 73 myeon under Jinju Mok to build a stone embankment. It served as a base for military communication with the Jeollyangcheomsa of Namhae Changseondo, housing about 300 naval soldiers and two warships at that time.

Although the Yakseokru has collapsed, traces remain of the earthen fortifications, the gate, and what is presumed to be the command post site. Climbing the stone steps at the fortress entrance and walking along the fortress walls reveals an outdoor performance hall, and beyond the gate, one can see the site of the main tower, a monument honoring the war dead, and a victory monument commemorating Admiral Yi Sun-sin's naval victory at Sacheon.

Jomyeonggun Tomb is the resting place of the souls of the fallen who sacrificed their lives during the final battle fought by the Joseon-Ming allied forces at Seonjinri Fortress (then called Sinchae) in the 30th year of King Seonjo's reign (1597) during the Jeongyu War. The tomb is a square burial mound with an area of 36㎡ (a neatly squared tomb), commonly called a 'Dangbyeong tomb,' and also nicknamed 'Daenggangmudeogi.' Until before liberation, there was a roughly 1m tall marker stone on top of the tomb inscribed with 'Dangbyeong Gongyangtap,' but it disappeared after liberation. However, this tomb has been well-preserved in its original form for about 400 years, and now the Joseon-Ming Allied Forces War Memorial Monument stands in front of the tomb.
